For Columbus Day weekend some friends and I made the most of our surroundings and headed to the Cape (as New Englanders would call it). I took a day-trip to Martha's Vineyard, not expecting to see the most adorable island ever. In terms of academics it was a terribly unproductive weekend, but it's one that I will remember for the rest of my life!
This is really awkward and I didn't quite know this at the time, but this entire outfit is from J.Crew... except for, maybe, my socks. And sunglasses. And purse. But other than that... haha¯\_(ツ)_/¯. When in Martha's Vineyard!
Had lunch at this adorable place in Edgartown. (We heard that there was more to do here, rather than in Oak Bluffs, although, you couldn't possibly go wrong with either!)
This window display reminded me of the Kennedy's kind of, and a life that looks like this display is basically GOALS for me.
I recommend going in the fall, when it's relatively quiet, the trees look like this, and it's sweater weather :).
I got this Cape Cod bracelet at one of the boutiques (The Silver Seahorse) on the main land. Apparently the braided style is new for the traditional Cape Cod bracelets. I had the most difficult time finding the bracelets, though. Granted, most jewelry stores had them, but they differed so much in terms of price. If you're looking to get one, do your research first!
