I'm writing this post at 1 AM next to the beach (night owl). I can't see squat but I can hear tropical-ish things!!
If you follow my Instablog or VSCO account, I'm sure you're aware of my spring break adventures thus far with Madison of Tres Chic. If you're not, toss us a follow :)
We were commenting on how much of a growing experience this has been so far. For example, we went full-on grocery shopping to stock the house and we've made 3 or 4 meals already (how I've missed this!). This must be what it's like to live alone in a house and it's actually v stressful. How does one know what to buy at the grocery store...? We've also fallen into a lovely routine of waking up late and basically lounging in the sun. I also got to meet and hang out with her best guy friend from home!! Meeting him was so weird. I don't know how to explain the experience of meeting someone you've heard so much about and have interacted with on social media. It's like still pictures that are set into motion before your eyes... perhaps how the Victorians felt in the age of the Lumière brothers (i.e. train at La Ciotat).
I've also been trying to catch up on necessary reading. My school does. not. stop. They shouldn't call it spring vacation. More like "short period of time with no classes but with astronomical amounts of work, regardless"... that's more appropriate. So anyway, I figured finishing all this reading would be a simple task given all the free time. Haha NOPE. Who knew that I could get so bored reading John Locke in excess?!
So obviously that's a worry sitting in the back of my mind. But I'm trying to focus on the ~now~...? And of course, fashion comes first. So here's my dinner outfit for 03.07.16 and my day-time outfit outfit for 03.06.16... more to come. Stay tuned and enjoy!!
