Easter Break 2016 OOTD: Part 1

IMG_4902 Hello everyone!!!

I am so thrilled to be back in the motherland. I woke up naturally today, something I haven't done in 3,000 lightyears. But even better than that, I woke up reverse-starfishing my big bed with a cat on my stomach and paws on my chest. Kind of bizarre, but I haven't been more content.

I realized this past week that perhaps my blog posts are becoming too 'lax and casual. I'm embarrassed to think that I forgot that more than just my immediate gal pals read this blog. For example, my mother, grandmother, and the "ladies of the neighborhood" also read it. It turned into more of a journal, and it was brought to my attention that some of the details I was divulging were perhaps not afternoon-tea-appropriate, if you know what I mean...

But anyway, moving on. Packing to come home was extremely difficult in the most simple way possible. This time around I didn't pack nearly a single article of clothing other than maybe a pair of jeans and some workout stuff. Obviously that was a difficult task. I knew I'd have clothing at home, but it still felt like I was leaving without my children and was heading straight for a weekend in pajama pants and sports bra.

Fortunately my fears were assuaged. I went on some errands today to prepare for the Alpha Phi date party I'm attending tonight (!!!!!!!) in this outfit. I was creeping on Jane Aldridge's blog and felt inspired by neck scarves and bootcut jeans.

Hope you enjoy and have a nice end of week!!
