So France has this thing where they have like, two massive sales a year, each lasting many weeks at a time. I think. I arrived on the tail end of the winter sales, and it's been quite incredible to see. Although, most of the good stuff is sold out already boooo.
Also, Burberry had this incredible photography/new collection exhibit that was just brilliant. On an aesthetic level, the use of the whole building, left mostly in its natural, industrial form, was striking and the Parisian bobo's dream. There was a group of these really hip people who had their own photoshoot everywhere, interacting with the mannequin displays. I mean, very weird but I also can't judge.
Here are some of the shots. And some recent outfits. I'm finding that a classic black, cinched-waist coat is really what I've been needing. And you'll notice from the photos that I'm changing up my Instagram "aesthetic" so to speak. It was just boring and I hated having to meticulously select photos that fit the theme. So now I'm posting just about any picture I want, regardless of how it looks. Photos even taken with flash... *gasp*. So the new aesthetic is called flash-trash because that's what they are, essentially. Loving it so far.
